Jan lunch 2012

We had a brilliant lunch in Jan 2012 at Restaurant Piedra De Luna it was a great atmosphere we had games and net working etc

Our lunch in Feb 2012 will be at Crystals will forward on the lunch menu once confirmed we will have Cathryn of Crown Jewels who will have a jewelry stand just ready for Valentines Day hope to see you all there. We have several bookings already booked for our FEB lunch

Company women will help a charity throughout 2012 to pick our charity we want all the members to email the charity that they support so that it will go into a box to be drawn at our FEB lunch so please forward this onto Ena at info@goldenkeysproperty.com

CW awards 2011 coming

Our awards are coming up on 9^th March 2012 at Las Ramblas restaurant closing date for applications is 20^th January 2012 as we are arranging the judges and will inform everyone at the FEB lunch who the finalizes are

Adam is opening to the public on Sunday the 22nd of January from 11am until 5pm to demonstrate his wonderful skills with horses. He is currently working with a horse who has lost one eye to help it gain confidence once more and learn to deal with its disability. I have seen Adam do this before and it is a wonderful experience. Horses as big as they are need the care and attention as our beloved animals we own, and are extremely sensitive creatures. To watch him at work is educating and stimulating as he uses his spirituality and skill to gain a horses trust.

Many refer to Adam as a Horse Whisperer because, through his heightened sensitivity he is able to hear a horse’s whisper. This ability has enabled him to develop an original approach to the way in which we interact with horses. Adam’s work ethic with horses is to have good feel, intuition, balance and timing to create a partnership based on trust, respect and understanding.

Adam Shereston the well known ‘Horse Whisper’ celebrated the opening of his new stables and training centre in Alhama de Murcia on the 20th of November! Adam is well know all over Europe and has finally decided to settle here in Southern Spain! Apart from being a training and horse management centre Adam has 4 livery places available.

Adam is hosting an introduction course on Saturday 10th December, the cost is 60.00euros which includes lunch if you or anyone you know is interested?

Our latest networking lunch this month was at The Square, Villamartin, with speakers Lyn Patterson from ‘That Free Thing’, which seems it may be the next BIG thing to hit the Costa Blanca, where simply by registering, you can obtain discounts and vouchers for all sorts of free things, and Shirley Adams from Lloyds Bank International who gave some very interesting information on their current deposit rates, their new current account, and  Treasury Department in Madrid for making currency transfers.  One lucky lady was presented with a bag of Lloyds Bank International Goodies.

It was a very busy lunch with some serious networking, just read the latest comment from Cathryn who attended for the 1^st time, can came away with several leads for new business, on our website www.companywomen.org.

Our host Karen Love (vice-president), stood in for our president Gina Marks, who was unfortunately was poorly, and reported on the success of the Expo Fiesta in Alicante, where several company women members had stands.  Thanks was given to those who manned the Company Women Stand at the Expo.  Enquiries from ladies they met at the show, will be followed up over the next few weeks.  The Expo was a wonderful opportunity to broaden the scope of Company Women, and reach new ladies from other areas, who are looking for the networking and support Company Women offers.

Next is our Christmas Lunch at Stan & Ollies, El Raso, where we have a wonderful party planned, including a magician, Santa and what will be an entertaining talk from Dave Bull of All Abroad magazine.

Karen also announced the categories for The Company Women Awards 2011/12, and some of the sponsors.  Nominations forms are being to be received already.  So if you know of Lady in Business, who deserves special recognition, please visit our website on www.companywomen.org and nominate her – she doesn’t have to be a member of company women.

Food and service from The Square was excellent and one comment from one of our ladies on the food, was what ‘luscious liver’
